Workplace Mediation

Alternative Dispute Resolution procedures including Mediation and Conciliation have increased in popularity as ways of resolving matters that might otherwise involve costly legal processes. Commercial Mediation has been used to address business disputes for some years, and more recently Workplace Mediation has become increasingly formalised and prevalent.

There are several providers of mediation accreditation, but a nationally recognised system of accreditation is still in the discussion stages. One recognised provider of Workplace Mediation accreditation is the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre, and it is their accreditation that I hold.

In addition to the Workplace Mediation accreditation, I completed Commercial Negotiation training many years ago and have since used those skills alongside psychology based facilitation and conflict management skills to provide forms of behavioural mediation and conflict resolution.
